Two music geeks, a couple mics, and a very special guest: it’s The Hidden Track.

The Hidden Track features some of the most popular, most commented, and all around most awesome tracks from the preceding month on One Track Mind. We throw in some material by artists whose work is somehow connected to those picks as well as The Bonus Track, a song which didn’t make the cut on One Track Mind but was so good we had to share it anyway.

The podcast is hosted by Danny, who produces the daily content on the site, and Jeff, who lends his passion for and knowledge of good music.

This episode finds Danny and Jeff joined by Ricardo Baca, the Denver Post’s Music Editor, organizer of the Underground Music Showcase, and certified Bocce Wizard. Check out his editorial prowess over at the great Reverb music blog.

Enjoy the episode numero dos, share it with your friends, give us your feedback below or via Twitter, and tune in again next month!

Fun! Love the new guy. After listening to the whole thing, my favorite part is still at the very start when Danny rumbles the word “Awesome!”
After sharing an hour fifteen with y’all:
    – Just learned that I like the Cribs – and that Johnny Marr may be to blame.
    – my coding *is* faster, now
    – Re Joanne Fabrics & Weezer: yes! a couple weeks ago, I walked into the Stowe Mountain Resort in Stowe Vermont (the mountains, mind you) and they are playing Sufjan Stevens. Huh?
    – \ˌma-lə-ˈdrȯit\ from Middle French, from mal- + adroit; 1685
    – Dead Confederate is the new Weezer. Rivers is 39!

We are rocking out at the Larimer right now. Killer mix…

Listened to both podcasts today, they were great! Loved that you played Orange Juice and I really liked Wild Beasts.
