Isn’t “Teenage Suicide” a tune from “Heathers” starring Winona Ryder? I believe the original artist was Big Fun. LOL.

@Shane L: I’m guessing here, but I think it meant as an homage to Big Fun’s “Teenage Suicide (Don’t Do It).” However, the melody and lyrics are decidedly different. Great catch, though!
